Project My Lab

Old version in our former game engine

Project My Lab (development name, not final) is the first software in development in our line of educational apps. This will be an interactive encyclopedia for students in primary schools and junior secondary schools, or junior high as it’s called in some countries, to learn basic, general science. Kids are very unlikely to go online and start reading up about electricity and magnetism or the ideal gas law during their free time, and that’s totally understandable. It’s just not very fun.
Project My Lab will make it fun to explore these topics. Instead of looking at a flat, labeled image in a textbook, people would be looking at full 3D models and rotating them at will to view them from the desired angle. Instead of watching an explanation video in a documentary, people would be playing mini-games that pass across the message better. You get the idea.
My Lab will be available on smart phones and tablets first, and then will also roll out on Virtual Reality headsets like the Oculus Rift and Augmented Reality headsets like the Hololens. We hope to  have the first mobile app ready by Q4 2016.
